An international environmental organisation has presented Weill Cornell Medicine – Qatar’s (WCM-Q) Sahtak Awalan (Your Health First) campaign with a prestigious award for sustainability.
The Energy Globe Foundation, which is based in Austria, announced that Sahtak Awalan is the 2018 winner of the Energy Globe Award for Qatar.
The prize honours projects across the globe that raise awareness about the sustainable use of resources and which make a real difference to the future of our planet.
Nesreen al-Rifai, chief communications officer at WCM-Q, said it was a great honour to have been selected and testament to the valuable work that Sahtak Awalan is doing in the community.

أعلنت مؤسسة Energy Globe ، ومقرها النمسا ، أن Sahtak Awalan هو الفائز بالجائزة في عام 2018 لجائزة Energy Globe لقطر.
الجائزة تكرم المشاريع في جميع أنحاء العالم التي ترفع الوعي حول الاستخدام المستدام للموارد والتي تحدث فرقا حقيقيا لمستقبل كوكبنا.
وقالت نسرين الرفاعي ، رئيسة قسم الاتصالات في كلية طب وايل كورنيل في قطر ، إن من دواعي الشرف الكبير أن يتم اختيارها وشهادة على العمل القيّم الذي يقوم به Sahtak Awalan في المجتمع.
